The 2021 Semi-Annual Work Summary Meeting of Jinlong Rare Earth was successfully held.
On July 14, the company held its 2021 Semiannual Work Summary Meeting. Chen Dakun, Party Secretary and General Manager of the company, members of the Executive Committee, mid-level managers, and personnel from various echelons attended the meeting. The meeting also invited Lean consultant Teacher Tang and Quality consultant Teacher Yan to provide guidance and expertise.

To showcase the achievements made so far in the implementation of Lean, further summarize experiences, address shortcomings, and continue to deepen the advancement of Lean production management, the company held the 2021 Mid-Year Summary Meeting for International Advanced Manufacturing on the morning of July 14. More than 150 people attended the meeting, including Chen Dakun, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, members of the Executive Committee, the STD advisory team, the SGS advisory team, and Lean teams from various business divisions.

The 8th "Golden Dragon Cup" Football Tournament is now in full swing!
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party and enhance team cohesion among employees while enriching their cultural lives, the opening ceremony of the 8th "Jinlong Cup" Football Tournament—hosted by the Jinlong Rare Earth Party, Labor, and Youth League Committee and co-organized by Baisike and Zhuoer Technology—was held on July 12 at the company’s soccer field.

On July 7, the Rare Earth Elements Division organized a “Red Card Battle” campaign for on-site management personnel and all employees to address issues of “leakage, spillage, and seepage” at the worksite.

To deeply implement lean principles, the Rare Earth Elements Division recently organized a “Smooth Sailing” TPM initiative, launching the second round of equipment cleaning and “capping” the bolts on equipment in the Elements Division.

The Magnetic Materials Division conducted a nighttime evacuation drill.
To enhance the safety awareness and emergency evacuation capabilities of personnel in each team within the business division, and to hone the emergency command skills of various response teams, the Magnetic Materials Business Division organized a nighttime evacuation drill on the evening of July 1.

On June 30, Lü Li, Deputy Secretary of the Changting County Party Committee and Party Group Secretary of the County Government; Huang Jian, Deputy County Mayor; Wang Xuezhao, Deputy County Mayor; and leaders from various county-level departments conducted an in-depth field visit to our company to inspect the magnetic material production workshop and the 4,000-ton magnetic material expansion project. Chen Dakun, Party Secretary and General Manager of the company, and Lai Xing, Director of Operations, accompanied the inspection.

The Party Branch of Jinlong Rare Earth has been officially upgraded to a Party Committee.
To further strengthen the building of Party organizations and the ranks of Party members within enterprises, enhance Party building leadership, and better propel the company’s Party work into a new phase—thus enabling the Party committee to drive the enterprise’s greater development—based on the Party Constitution and the Regulations on the Election of Grassroots Party Organizations of the Communist Party of China, and with the approval of the Xiamen Tungsten Party Committee and the Party Working Committee of the Changting Industrial Park, the Party General Branch of Jinlong Rare Earth has been officially upgraded to a Party Committee. On the morning of June 28, Jinlong Rare Earth convened a general meeting of Party members to elect the first-ever Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission. Lan Jundong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Changting County Industrial Park, attended the meeting. All Party members from Jinlong Rare Earth, Baisike, and Zhuoer Technology participated in the meeting.

The century-long journey has been magnificent and full of ups and downs, yet the original aspiration of the Communist Party of China has remained steadfast and unyielding over the years. 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and also the inaugural year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. To celebrate the Party’s centenary, we have actively promoted Party history education. On June 19, the Party Branch Committee of Jinlong Rare Earth, in collaboration with the Party branches of Baisike and Zhuoer, organized nearly a hundred Party members to travel to Ruijin for a themed Party Day activity titled “Study a Century of Party History, Shoulder the Mission of the Times,” thereby welcoming July 1st and celebrating the Party’s centenary.

At the time when the nation has set its goals of "peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality," in order to actively respond to the national low-carbon development policies, demonstrate the sense of responsibility of state-owned enterprises, and further enhance employees' awareness of energy conservation and carbon reduction, the Environmental and Safety Management Department organized a thematic briefing session on "Peaking Carbon Emissions and Achieving Carbon Neutrality" on the afternoon of June 16. The meeting was attended by Chen Dakun, General Manager of the company, as well as management personnel from various business units and functional departments.
