The company’s mid-year summary conference on advanced international manufacturing was held successfully.

To showcase the achievements made so far in the implementation of Lean, further summarize experiences, address shortcomings, and continue to deepen the advancement of Lean production management, the company held the 2021 Mid-Year Summary Meeting for International Advanced Manufacturing on the morning of July 14. More than 150 people attended the meeting, including Chen Dakun, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, members of the Executive Committee, the STD advisory team, the SGS advisory team, and Lean teams from various business divisions.

At the outset of the meeting, all participants watched together the “Jinlong Rare Earth IAM Mid-Year Video Review,” gaining insight into the work and achievements made by the company’s IAM team in the first half of the year. Subsequently, the chief facilitators of lean projects from each business division and members of the quality project teams delivered reports and summaries, covering five key areas: overall work status, process review, presentation of achievements, required support, and the subsequent work plan.

Subsequently, the company recognized individuals and teams that had demonstrated outstanding performance in lean and quality improvement initiatives. A total of 52 outstanding individuals and 16 exceptional project teams were selected. While commending the remarkable achievements of all the winners, we encourage them to keep up their excellent efforts and continue to stay committed to their roles, embodying the spirit of craftsmanship in their future work.

The achievements of lean improvement in the first half of the year are becoming increasingly evident. We must turn lean improvement into a regular practice and make it sustainable.

Finally, Chen Dakun, Party Secretary and General Manager of the company, delivered a concluding speech. He fully affirmed the achievements made by each business division in the first half of the year in IAM work and emphasized that the company must maintain enthusiasm and continue to make steady improvements in both lean production and IAM quality initiatives. It is crucial to clearly recognize the gap between the current situation and our goals, and to organically integrate and closely align the company’s financial success with the benefits for our employees. By adopting scientific methods, we should accelerate the implementation of International Advanced Manufacturing (IAM), continuously enhance our performance, and strive to become a benchmark!
