On July 28, Liu Lianhe, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Consulting Research Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources and former Director-General of the Mineral Development and Management Department of the former Ministry of Land and Resources, along with his delegation, visited our company for an inspection and guidance. Accompanying them on the visit were He Nanfei, First-Level Inspector of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources; Li Jiqiong, Director of the Mineral Rights Division; Su Wenxin, Deputy Director of the Municipal Department of Natural Resources; Xiao Yanshan, Deputy County Magistrate of Changting County; Fan Yufeng, Director of Magnetic Materials Production at our company; and Lai Xing, Director of Operations.

The company’s SRM procurement management platform is officially live!
After nearly five months of thorough research conducted by our company’s SRM project team, and following the streamlining and optimization of internal business processes—including procurement, warehousing, and payment—we successfully completed the construction of the foundational data model, conducted system function training and testing, and carried out more than 30 customized development tasks. On July 20, our company’s SRM procurement management platform was successfully launched and has been running smoothly ever since.

The Rare Earth Elements Division organized a “Stay Calm and Focused” TPM activity.
Improving the on-site environment hinges on the continuous, hard work of frontline employees. On July 21, the Rare Earth Elements Division addressed the issue of “air leaks in compressed air systems” by involving employees and team leaders, along with on-site guidance from fitters. This approach enabled both site managers and frontline workers to quickly identify the root causes of the problem and implement effective improvements and solutions.

On July 16, the semi-annual summary meeting for the lean production project of Guangzhou Zhujiang Optoelectronics New Materials Co., Ltd. was held in the company’s training room. Attending the meeting were Wu Zhaoru, General Manager of Zhujiang Optoelectronics; Teacher Wang, a lean expert consultant from Shuben Technology; the head of the Zhujiang Optoelectronics lean project; and members of the project team.

Li Laichao, General Manager of the Rare Earth Elements Division, personally selected and authorized improvement projects for the 18 junior lean practitioner trainees.
