The semi-annual summary meeting for Zhujiang Optoelectronics’ Lean Project was held successfully.

On July 16, the semi-annual summary meeting for the lean production project of Guangzhou Zhujiang Optoelectronics New Materials Co., Ltd. was held in the company’s training room. Attending the meeting were Wu Zhaoru, General Manager of Zhujiang Optoelectronics; Teacher Wang, a lean expert consultant from Shuben Technology; the head of the Zhujiang Optoelectronics lean project; and members of the project team.

On July 16, the Guangzhou Zhujiang Optoelectronics New Materials Co., Ltd. held its semi-annual summary meeting for the Lean Production Project in the company’s training room. Attending the meeting were Wu Zhaoru, General Manager of Zhujiang Optoelectronics; Teacher Wang, a Lean Expert Consultant from Shuben Technology; the person in charge of the Zhujiang Optoelectronics Lean Project; and members of the project team.

At the outset of the meeting, Liu Zhigang, the chief commander of the Lean project, led the participants in reciting the “Ten Spirits of Improvement,” enabling everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the Lean spirit.

Next, the project leaders summarized and reported on their key tasks—progress made since the project’s launch on November 25 last year in areas such as on-site 7S activities, visual improvement initiatives, initial equipment TPM cleaning, and efficiency enhancements—as well as the main follow-up improvement plans. The summary covered four aspects: stage achievements, implementation process, highlight developments, and future plans.

After listening to the summary reports from each project team, General Manager Wu and Lean Instructor Teacher Wang expressed their appreciation for the effectiveness of each team’s lean implementation efforts. They emphasized that we must maintain our passion and continue making improvements in our company’s lean production initiatives. Additionally, they urged us to accelerate the pace of project advancement and ensure that we meet the scheduled milestones and achieve our predetermined goals on time.

During the advancement of lean project improvement initiatives, many outstanding employees with remarkable performance and impressive results have emerged. In accordance with the company’s lean project incentive system, the meeting awarded certificates to the selected outstanding project teams, outstanding individuals, and specialized improvement experts, and also held a ceremony to recognize and reward them.
