The quarterly summary meeting for the rare-earth metals business unit’s talent development pipeline was held successfully!

In response to the company’s call for talent development and to effectively establish and improve the talent-development mechanisms within the business divisions, as well as to promote communication among divisional echelon members, core key personnel, and newly hired employees and to conduct phased summaries of talent-development efforts, the Rare Earth Metals Division held a training-sharing and quarterly talent-echelon summary meeting on June 3.

Focus on circuit maintenance to ensure full power supply. The company is conducting comprehensive line maintenance to guarantee stable power delivery.

To further enhance the health level of power supply equipment and ensure the safe, stable operation of the plant’s equipment and grid as well as reliable power supply, on June 2, 2021, in conjunction with the distribution network maintenance conducted by Longyan City Power Company, our company’s Equipment Department maintenance team seized the opportunity presented by the maintenance work. Starting at 4:50 a.m. and continuing until 2:00 a.m. the following day, they carried out inspections for potential equipment hazards and repaired both internal and external power lines in the areas of the plant experiencing power outages.

The May Lean Production Regular Meeting and Lean Recognition Ceremony for the Rare Earth Elements Division were successfully held!

To fully implement the company’s overall requirements for lean production, break down ingrained mindsets, eliminate waste, enhance efficiency, and achieve high efficiency at low cost, the Rare Earth Elements Division held its regular May lean production meeting and lean recognition ceremony on the morning of June 4. The meeting was attended by more than 40 people, including Li Laichao, General Manager of the Division; Tang Weigen, a lean expert; and members of various lean project teams. Yang Shaobo, the chief commander of lean production, chaired the meeting.

Mastering the art of titration, staying calm and composed to achieve outstanding results—The rare earth elements business unit’s skills competition was successfully held!

In response to the company’s skills competition, and to further enhance employees’ inspection and testing capabilities and improve the overall quality of the workforce, from May 26 to June 1, the Element Business Division organized a standardized titration skills competition among its staff members, themed “Master Skills Through Titrations, Stay Calm and Achieve Outstanding Results.”

To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, we are steadily advancing safety production supervision—provincial metallurgical control and Xiamen Tungsten Group have successfully carried out a cross-audit on safety.

To earnestly implement the provincial Party committee and provincial government’s arrangements and deployments for work on production safety, and to continuously advance the three-year special campaign for production safety aimed at celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and to promote the effective implementation of production safety measures within the company, on the morning of May 28, leaders and experts from the Provincial Metallurgical Control Group and Xiamen Tungsten Group jointly organized a cross-check audit to inspect and provide guidance on the company’s production safety situation. Chen Dakun, General Manager of the company, leaders from various business divisions, and relevant personnel from the Safety and Environmental Protection Department attended the event. Fu Xiuhong, Manager of the Safety and Environmental Protection Management Department, chaired the meeting.

The rare earth elements business unit’s TPM Red Card Campaign is off to a smooth start!

To continuously implement the second round of equipment cleaning in the Rare Earth Elements Division and thoroughly put into practice lean principles to address long-standing on-site issues, on May 27, the Elements Division organized a TPM Red Card Campaign themed “Eliminate Unusual Noises from All Equipment in the Elements Division.”

The rare earth metals division and Zhuoer Technology have successfully carried out an exchange on lean production!

To continuously learn about lean production, gain insights into different lean cultures, and put into practice the “go out and learn, then bring back what you’ve learned” learning model, on the afternoon of May 27, Cui Hongyan, Chief Lean Director of the Rare Earth Metals Division, led the lean team to Zhuoer Technology for a visit, study, and exchange on lean production.
