Focus on circuit maintenance to ensure full power supply. The company is conducting comprehensive line maintenance to guarantee stable power delivery.

To further enhance the health level of power supply equipment and ensure the safe, stable operation of the plant’s equipment and grid as well as reliable power supply, on June 2, 2021, in conjunction with the distribution network maintenance conducted by Longyan City Power Company, our company’s Equipment Department maintenance team seized the opportunity presented by the maintenance work. Starting at 4:50 a.m. and continuing until 2:00 a.m. the following day, they carried out inspections for potential equipment hazards and repaired both internal and external power lines in the areas of the plant experiencing power outages.

This power outage maintenance operation is time-sensitive, involves a heavy workload, and covers numerous lines over a wide area. To ensure that the maintenance is completed comprehensively, efficiently, with high quality, and on schedule, we have specially assembled a powerful maintenance team consisting of fitter crews, electrician crews, and engineers.

To ensure that this work is completed on time and smoothly, everyone—from top to bottom—has attached great importance to it. The maintenance team has been divided into five groups, each responsible for different tasks. All teams are strictly following the operation manuals in carrying out maintenance procedures, ensuring safe operations, guaranteeing maintenance quality, eliminating any potential hazards, and getting the job done right the first time.

Through this maintenance, the company completed repairs and upgrades to the magnetic material high- and low-voltage rooms, the circulating water system, the melting furnace, water meters, valves, and other equipment. Eight safety issues were identified, and all eight have been resolved. Externally, the company carried out maintenance on three 10-kV high-voltage lines—Cilong Line I, Cijin Line II, and Cijin Line III—and discovered and addressed a major safety hazard. In total, two pole-mounted operations were completed, over 200 pole components were inspected, and 5 kilometers of overhead power lines were cleared of vegetation obstructions.

This power maintenance operation fully demonstrated the maintenance team’s superb technical expertise and their fearless spirit of taking on challenges. “Focusing on details, ensuring safety and efficiency”—the Maintenance Section of the Equipment Department is committed to providing robust power support and safeguarding the company’s operations.
