Mastering the art of titration, staying calm and composed to achieve outstanding results—The rare earth elements business unit’s skills competition was successfully held!

In response to the company’s skills competition, and to further enhance employees’ inspection and testing capabilities and improve the overall quality of the workforce, from May 26 to June 1, the Element Business Division organized a standardized titration skills competition among its staff members, themed “Master Skills Through Titrations, Stay Calm and Achieve Outstanding Results.”

In response to the company’s skills competition, and to further enhance employees’ inspection and testing capabilities and improve the overall quality of the workforce, from May 26 to June 1, the Element Business Division organized a standardized titration skills competition for employees in various positions, under the theme “Master Skills Through Titrations, Stay Calm and Achieve Outstanding Results.”

Seventy frontline employees from extraction, precipitation, central control, and acid dissolution teams were divided into five modules for group competitions. The competition involved on-site titration of feed liquid acidity and concentration using manual operation techniques. Participants were comprehensively evaluated based on factors such as time taken to complete the task, accuracy of results, and adherence to standardized operating procedures.

The competition consisted of three rounds, and the list of finalists for the third round was determined based on the combined results of the first two rounds. After a tense and intense contest, Liu Yi, Huang Hairong, Zhang Jiantao, Liao Erxiu, and Que Xiaocheng each took first place in their respective groups. In the final round, Huang Hairong from the Refinement Class demonstrated remarkable stability and masterful skills, narrowly edging out the other four challengers by a slim margin to triumphantly claim the top spot in the titration skills competition.

This competition serves as a comprehensive assessment of the production-site employees’ theoretical knowledge, professional skills, operational capabilities, and dedication—a true showcase of their professional expertise and a thorough evaluation of their overall competence.

Through this competition, the Rare Earth Elements Division has fostered a positive atmosphere characterized by high enthusiasm for learning and strong competitive spirit. It has inspired on-site employees to deepen their professional knowledge, elevate their skills, expand their expertise, enhance their overall quality, and pursue practical results. This has enabled the division to accumulate valuable experience in strengthening its internal development and improving its testing and monitoring capabilities, thereby promoting the enhancement of professionals’ specialized skills on-site.
