To warmly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and earnestly convey and study the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the mobilization meeting for Party history study and education, as well as to implement the work requirements set forth by the CPC Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Party Committee of the Provincial Metallurgical (Holding) Company, and the Party Committee of Xiamen Tungsten, on April 25 afternoon, the Party Branch of Jinlong Rare Earth organized an initiation meeting and a Party history lecture for all party members of the company, themed “Remembering the Glorious Journey and Gathering the Strength to Forge Ahead.”

For many years in a row, we have organized the “Fertile Soil, Tree Planting” campaign. As the 43rd Tree-Planting Day approaches, our Party, Labor Union, and Youth League have successfully carried out the themed Party Day activity—“Red Party Building, Green Development, Golden Future: I Take the Lead in Tree Planting and Green Conservation”—in a phased and regionally coordinated manner.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army’s participation in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and to carry forward and promote the great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea, on October 23, Zhang Yongjian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the company, led party members from the company to visit and offer condolences to Lü Liankui, an elderly veteran who fought in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. On behalf of the Party Branch, Zhang Yongjian expressed profound respect and warm greetings to the veteran volunteer soldier, and together they watched the “Conference Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army’s Participation in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea.” The 91-year-old veteran Lü Liankui is the grandfather of Lü Congjun from the Automotive Products Sales Department of our company’s Magnetic Materials Division. He joined the army at the age of 20 and went to fight in Korea in September 1952, dedicating his life to the cause of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea.

On September 21, 2020, the unveiling ceremony for the “Jinlong Rare Earth Study and Education Base” was successfully held at the Qu Qiubai Memorial Hall. Attending the ceremony were Director Wang Li and Deputy Director Zhang Jinhong of the Qu Qiubai Memorial Hall, Zhang Yongjian, Deputy Secretary of the company’s Party Branch Committee, as well as secretaries, committee members, and representative Party members from various branches.

On August 20, the Party General Branch of the company, the First Party Branch, and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Changting County conducted a joint Party-building activity in Huangniping Village, a poverty-stricken village in Changting County. Through industry-based poverty alleviation and employment-based poverty alleviation initiatives, they established a sound, long-term poverty-relief mechanism, boosted employment opportunities for rural labor forces, helped impoverished residents increase their incomes, and supported Changting in winning the battle against poverty.

On August 14, Hu Deyong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Director of the Rare Earths Department, led a team to conduct an in-depth investigation and provide guidance on safety production at the company, and also organized a symposium. Zhong Kexiang, Vice President of Xiamen Tungsten and Executive Director of the company, Chen Dakun, General Manager of the company, and Zhang Yongjian, Chief Production Officer of the Rare Earth Metals Division, accompanied the delegation during the visit.
