Interpretation of Article 58 of the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China: Those who are disloyal and dishonest to the Party, show a discrepancy between their words and actions, pay lip service while secretly acting otherwise, deceive superiors and conceal facts from subordinates, engage in duplicity, and adopt a two-faced attitude—thus causing adverse political consequences—shall receive a warning or a serious warning as disciplinary action. For cases involving more serious circumstances, the offender shall be removed from their Party position or placed under Party observation. In cases of particularly serious circumstances, the offender shall be expelled from the Party.

Interpretation of Article 57 of the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China: If a leading cadre who is a Party member has a distorted view of political achievements, violates the new development philosophy, deviates from the requirements for high-quality development, and thereby causes significant losses to the interests of the Party, the state, and the people, they shall be given a warning or a serious warning as disciplinary action.

Interpretation of Article 56 of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China": If a leading cadre who is also a Party member acts arbitrarily in the area under his or her jurisdiction or in the department he or she oversees, engages in factionalism, refuses to implement the major policies and guidelines set forth by the Party Central Committee, and even secretly pursues a separate agenda behind the back of the Party Central Committee, he or she shall be subject to disciplinary action including removal from Party office, probation within the Party, or expulsion from the Party.
