In response to Xiamen Tungsten International’s call for advanced manufacturing, we will steadily advance IAM. From October 23 to 25, 2020, the Jinlong Rare Earth IAM Practitioner Training Workshop was successfully held in the training room on the second floor of the company’s headquarters. A total of 59 participants from Jinlong Rare Earth, Ganzhou Hongfei, Ganzhou Haopeng, and Zhujiang Optoelectronics gathered in Changting to jointly learn about IAM-related knowledge.

At the outset of the training program, Chen Dakun, General Manager of the company, delivered a welcoming message, stating that the company would actively respond to the Group’s “Comprehensive Implementation Plan for Internationally Advanced Manufacturing,” build on Jinlong’s current situation, promote lean management, strengthen the foundation, and strive for continuous improvement.

This training session has specially invited an expert team from Shuben Technology to serve as the keynote speakers. First, they clearly defined Xiamen Tungsten Group’s IAM. The project’s objectives and implementation strategies have helped participants develop a clear understanding of their roles as practitioners. Through learning the fundamentals of Lean Production and Six Sigma, combined with exposure to systematic approaches for implementing Lean Six Sigma and sharing of common LSS tools, methods, and case studies, participants engaged in hands-on practice and研讨 improvement measures, gradually deepening their grasp of Lean principles.

Meanwhile, in order to continuously enhance the development of mid-level talent and ensure a steady supply of qualified personnel for advanced international manufacturing, Teacher Zhong led the participants in further exploring leadership and execution skills for the new era, thereby better improving project execution capabilities, boosting team morale, and fostering self-improvement among managers.

During the three-day training workshop, participants engaged in classroom interactions, debriefed on action learning experiences, and competed in a leaderboard challenge. Through various methods such as point accumulation, participants actively engaged, pooled their ideas, collaborated closely, and worked seamlessly together. They gained insights through learning and fostered growth through communication, thereby achieving the training objectives.

This IAM The successful holding of the Practitioners’ Training Workshop is a strong demonstration of the company’s earnest implementation of the spirit of the Xiamen Tungsten Headquarters’ “Comprehensive Implementation Plan for World-Class Advanced Manufacturing.” It also marks an important starting point for the company to foster a lean culture, disseminate lean principles, engage all employees in continuous improvement, and effectively advance the implementation of the IAM project. Moving forward, under the guidance of expert instructors, the company will continue to uphold the Xiamen Tungsten spirit, plan and organize more advanced manufacturing training sessions, and strive vigorously toward the goal of world-class advanced manufacturing!
