In the afternoon, the May monthly summary meeting for Lean Production was held as scheduled. At the meeting, Chief Commander Cui Hongyan led all participants in reciting the Lean slogan and the “Ten Spirits of Lean Improvement.” Each project manager from the Lean team then reported on their work activities for May.
Subsequently, the conference honored the May Lean Stars, Outstanding Improvement Cases, Outstanding BKM Cases, Outstanding Teams, and Outstanding Projects.
Teacher Huang provided comments on the May Lean initiative, recognizing the achievements of the Lean Office. The 7S site inspection activities, the second round of TPM cleaning, process quality improvement efforts, and talent development programs were all carried out smoothly and yielded positive results. Teacher Huang emphasized that process improvement initiatives should dare to experiment and adopt multi-dimensional verification and thinking approaches, encouraging business units to strive for “even better” and “more refined” performance.
Chief Commander Cui Hongyan stated that all project managers should strengthen project oversight, closely monitor project progress in real time, ensure that project teams remain fully committed and motivated, and work together with one unified purpose.
At the conclusion of the conference, Teacher Tang pointed out that lean production is a continuous process of ongoing improvement. We must make improvement a habit, and project managers should lead by example to inspire everyone to embrace lean practices fully. At the same time, he set higher expectations for the subsequent business units’ lean initiatives, emphasizing our commitment to building a seven-star factory.
