On [date], the company officially held its kickoff meeting for the 2021 “Safe Production Season.” Chen Dakun, General Manager of the company, and general managers of various business divisions attended the meeting. Fu Xiuhong, Manager of the Safety and Environmental Management Department, presided over the launch ceremony.
Centered around the theme of “Implementing Safety Responsibilities and Promoting Safe Development,” Manager Fu outlined this year’s safety production season activities in detail, covering three key areas: “promoting the dual prevention mechanism, enhancing the digitalization of safety and environmental management, and establishing a safety and environmental evaluation system.” He also provided specific work arrangements and identified the support needed. The goal is to encourage the participation of all employees and strengthen safety awareness through various means, including thematic columns, experience summaries, exposure of potential hazards, publicity reports, and summary commendations.
Subsequently, the company’s leadership engaged in a discussion and exchanged views on the arrangements for this year’s safety production season, and issued relevant instructions. Zhang Yongjian, General Manager of the Rare Earth Metals Division, put forward two key points for consideration: First, strengthen the ability to acquire timely information on industry trends, urging safety and environmental management personnel to draw upon industry experience and lessons learned to comprehensively ensure safe production at all posts. Second, enhance the company’s capacity to tackle challenges and overcome difficulties, calling on the Safety and Environmental Management Department to review past practices while staying abreast of new developments, regularly organize follow-up reviews of SA assessment projects, explore new processes from a technical perspective, and develop innovative solutions to further bolster safe production.
General Manager Chen Dakun, while acknowledging the company’s safety and environmental protection efforts over the past two years, set higher expectations for the next phase of work. He emphasized that safety must be integrated with internationally advanced manufacturing practices and performance metrics, and that the Safety Production Season campaign should be carried out in a solid and steady manner. Management personnel need to deepen their understanding and recognize that compliance and safety are two key aspects that reflect the company’s value. Moreover, safety management not only demonstrates the competence of management but is also closely linked to building the company’s influence.

The implementation of the Safety Production Season activities is of great significance in enhancing the company’s ability to prevent major risks, strengthening its capacity to address on-site hazards, and improving its overall emergency management level.
